Verified Grower Policy

PottMenu verifies licensed cultivators so consumers, dispensaries, budtenders, and other members of the community can confidently understand who is responsible for the harvests they discover.

This Verified Grower Policy explains how growers become verified, how verification is maintained, and the responsibilities that come with representing a cultivation business on PottMenu.

Capitalized terms used in this Policy have the meanings defined in the PottMenu Terms of Service.

01 — Why Verification Exists

Verification is intended to strengthen trust across the cannabis supply chain.

A Verified Grower represents a real licensed cultivator or cultivation business that has been reviewed and approved by PottMenu.

Verification helps ensure that Harvest Cards are published by the growers responsible for the harvests they represent.

Verification does not constitute an endorsement of a grower, product, or business by PottMenu.

02 — Who May Apply

Verification is available to licensed cannabis cultivators and authorized representatives of cultivation businesses operating in jurisdictions supported by PottMenu.

Applicants must be authorized to represent the cultivation business associated with the Grower Profile.

03 — Verification Requirements

To become a Verified Grower, applicants may be asked to provide information such as:

  • Cultivation license number
  • Business name
  • Contact information
  • A PDF or clear photo of the applicant’s active cultivation license, uploaded and submitted for PottMenu’s review
  • Supporting documentation confirming authority to represent the cultivation business
  • Any additional information reasonably necessary to verify identity or eligibility

04 — Verification Review

Each application is reviewed by PottMenu.

We may approve, deny, or request additional information before completing verification.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.

05 — Verified Grower Responsibilities

Verified Growers are expected to:

  • Represent themselves honestly.
  • Publish accurate Harvest Cards.
  • Keep profile information reasonably up to date.
  • Publish Harvest Cards only for harvests they are authorized to represent.
  • Comply with applicable laws and the PottMenu Terms of Service and Community Standards.

Verification carries an ongoing responsibility to maintain the trust of the PottMenu community.

06 — Harvest Card Responsibility

Verified Growers are responsible for the information they publish through Harvest Cards.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Harvest identity
  • Cultivar or strain information
  • Cultivation photographs
  • Harvest updates
  • Harvest timeline
  • Availability information
  • Other content intentionally published through the Platform

Growers should make reasonable efforts to ensure this information remains accurate.

07 — Maintaining Verification

Verification may be reviewed periodically.

PottMenu may request updated documentation or additional information to confirm continued eligibility.

Failure to maintain eligibility may result in the removal of Verified Grower status.

08 — Suspension or Revocation

PottMenu may suspend or revoke verification if we reasonably believe a grower has:

  • Submitted fraudulent information.
  • Misrepresented a cultivation business.
  • Published intentionally misleading Harvest Cards.
  • Violated applicable law.
  • Violated the Terms of Service or Community Standards.

Where appropriate, we may provide an opportunity to correct inaccurate information before taking action.

09 — Verification Badge

The Verified Grower badge identifies accounts that have successfully completed PottMenu’s verification process.

The badge is intended to communicate identity verification only. It should not be interpreted as an endorsement, certification of quality, or guarantee regarding any harvest or product.

10 — Appeals

Applicants whose verification request has been denied or revoked may contact PottMenu to request reconsideration.

We may request additional documentation as part of the review process.

Verification decisions are made at PottMenu’s reasonable discretion.

Verification helps preserve the integrity of Grower Profiles, Harvest Cards, and the relationships they create throughout the cannabis supply chain.
