The Harvest Card
Last updated July 2026
Cannabis harvests have never had an identity of their own. A batch is grown, trimmed, packaged, and sold — and once it leaves the garden, the story behind it disappears into a label. The grower who raised it, the care that went into it, and the wait that built anticipation for it are all lost by the time it reaches a shelf.
The Harvest Card exists to fix that. It is a persistent, verifiable identity for a single harvest — created by a licensed grower before the harvest window even opens, followed by consumers who want to know when it arrives, and carried through every step of the supply chain until it reaches a dispensary.
What a Harvest Card is
A Harvest Card is a digital record tied to one specific harvest from one verified grower. It includes the cultivar, the harvest window, the cultivation method, the grower’s verified license status, and a running count of the people following it. It is not a listing, a menu item, or an advertisement — it is closer to a passport that travels with the harvest from garden to shelf.
Why identity, not inventory
Most cannabis platforms are built around inventory: what’s in stock, where, and for how much. PottMenu is built around identity: whose harvest this is, how it was grown, and who is waiting for it. Inventory answers “what can I buy right now.” Identity answers “whose work am I about to enjoy.” We think the second question matters more to the kind of consumer craft growers are trying to reach.
The three principles
Verified. Every Harvest Card is tied to a grower whose cultivation license has been checked against public state licensing data. PottMenu does not create identities for unverified growers.
Shareable. A Harvest Card is meant to travel — from the grower, to a dispensary, to a consumer’s feed, and back again. Anyone in that chain can share it without losing the identity or provenance attached to it.
Trusted. Because the identity is persistent and tied to a verified license, a Harvest Card can be trusted the same way a signature or a stamp is trusted — it means a specific person stands behind a specific product.
What PottMenu is not
PottMenu does not grow, package, sell, or ship cannabis, and it does not process payments for cannabis transactions. It is an identity and discovery layer that sits alongside the licensed dispensaries and growers who do. Availability, pricing, and final sale always happen through licensed retail channels in compliance with applicable state law.
